Join Healthy Food America and the University of Washington, the UCONN Rudd Center for Food Policy & Health, and the Public Health Law Center at Mitchell Hamline School of Law to learn about the results of a new report that identifies effective legislative mechanisms for dedicating and allocating sweetened beverage tax revenues for specific health and racial equity purposes. We reviewed taxes proposed in the US over the past ten years, learned from the experiences of advocates and policymakers, and examined approaches used in alcohol, tobacco, and cannabis taxes. Webinar presenters will discuss results of the report, lessons learned, and recommendations for future tax design.

This project is funded by Healthy Eating Research, a national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
